As the nervous system softens, long-held imprints of stress, trauma, or overwhelm can begin to dissolve naturally, giving the body access to its inherent capacity for healing and self-organization.

At the heart of the practice is the movement of life force — known in tantric traditions as kundalini or sexual energy, but experienced here as pure vitality and aliveness. In the body, this is often felt as a vibrating current — sometimes cool or warm, sometimes subtle or intense — a moving, pulsating sensation that  reveals the natural flow of vitality.

 

Tibetan Pulsing works with this natural vitality through the pulse of the heart. Through gentle, continuous pressure on specific points in direct contact with the nervous system and skeletal structure, the magnetic pulse of the heart is guided into affected areas, where they can begin to soften and release, allowing the system to gradually return to balance.

Throughout the session, you remain comfortably clothed, lying with eyes closed in a relaxed state between waking and dreaming.

A Tibetan Pulsing session is a body-based exploration of pulse, sound, and awareness, guided through gentle pressure on specific points of the body and head. Each session is shaped around one of the 24 energy centers — also understood as organs — and unfolds uniquely for each individual.

Before the session, an eye reading (Tibetan Pulsing iridology) offers orientation for the work. From there, you lie comfortably with eyes closed, supported by music and silence of speech, as subtle currents of sensation begin to move through the body.

You remain comfortably clothed and fully at ease throughout the session. Simple hand gestures are agreed upon beforehand to communicate if there is any sensitivity in the area being addressed — though this is rarely needed, as the depth of relaxation often brings the client into a state between waking and dreaming, where the body naturally rests and receives.

The session lasts 90 minutes and is often experienced as deeply grounding, relaxing, restorative, and quietly transformative. Many people describe a sense of inner clearing — as if accumulated tension, overwhelm, and mental noise have been washed through — leaving behind clarity, peace, and a strengthened inner observer.

In this first encounter, the Tibetan Pulsing method and its experiential principles are introduced, followed by a brief eye reading (Tibetan Pulsing iridology). This is not as a fixed diagnosis, but as an interactive process, where practitioner and client explore together what is seen in the eyes and how it relates to lived experience, forming a shared sense of where the nervous system carries the most strain.

From there, two paths are possible.

Some people choose to begin working directly with the areas that feel most affected and continue session by session, as needed.

Others choose to enter a cycle of seven sessions, traditionally recommended in Tibetan Pulsing. This allows the experience to deepen progressively in the energy itself. With each session, sensitivity refines, trust grows, and the work naturally reaches deeper layers of the nervous system.
